Our policy regarding business news: The ACBA accepts relevant and timely business news releases from our members. We don’t have an editorial staff to accommodate and expedite the editing of all materials received. However we still reserve the right to:
1) Edit information for proper content
2) We do not guarantee the placement of any article
3) We do not guarantee the accuracy or spelling of information provided
The type of articles we prefer are in electronic format only (e-mail, or Microsoft Word) edited to a paragraph of information pertaining to: new business/clients, awards, new certifications, new employees, exhibiting at trade shows, new features, new products and patents, new construction, special business events etc. All news releases provided must be given with the official date of release, name of company, contact name, phone number and e-mail included.

American Croatian Business Association is planning to organize a new Croatian Credit Union to provide banking services;

  • for ACBA members, employees of member organizations,
  • for all members and shareholders of the American Croatian Lodge Cardinal A. Stepinac, and all member groups of the lodge,
  • for members of St. Paul Croatian Church and all the affiliate clubs and organizations.

 
A new Croatian Federal Credit Union is very much needed to serve and support the growth and progress of Croatians in our community.  However, before we can make our application to the Federal Gov. for a new Credit Union we must show that there is a need and a desire to have one. National Credit Union Administration (Gov.) has created a SURVEY form to be completed by as many Croatians as possible, indicating their interest, or not,  in the new Croatian credit union services.

Please complete the SURVEY (link) and mail it to ACBA, P.O. Box 31172, Independence, Ohio 44131. If you have questions about the survey please call Neven at 440 838 1437.

If you choose to answer the survey by email to the President of ACBA ( president@acba.us), indicate your answer to the seven questions. Example:  1. Yes, 2. No, 3 Yes, etc. We will fill-out the survey form for you.

Fund Raising Golf Outing – September 11, 2010

Organization and the set-up the new Credit Union will take time and substantial amount of money. Equipment, software and facilities will be needed and start-up staff will have to be paid. American Croatian Business Association has taken upon themselves to manage and fund this project. On September 11, 2010 we will have a Golf outing to raise funds for organizational expenses. If you are a golfer, please sign-up for this outing and business owners please sponsor a hole, and help us raise the funds we need.
